Discover credit card wanted a specialized white label travel app. The app allows a user to book travel, review corporate travel policies and so much more. The simplicity of opening up an app to book or review travel was met with much success over the pain of the previous booking system's Discovered had utilized with a previous travel agency.
Problem
Discover Credit Card faced several challenges with their existing travel booking system. The platform was cumbersome and difficult for users to navigate, leading to frustration and a poor overall experience. Users were unable to easily view current and past trips, contact an agent directly, or modify their bookings. Additionally, as an international client, Discover needed the ability for users to change currency and language settings to accommodate their diverse member base.
The old system also lacked integration with corporate travel policies, making it difficult for users to ensure their bookings were compliant. Moreover, Discover required special features such as weather updates, travel guides, and an "About Us" section, none of which were adequately supported by the previous platform. These limitations hindered user satisfaction and efficiency, necessitating a more robust and user-friendly solution.
